OK, maybe Dracula gets overused. But he's a special case. That guy's so popular he'll pop up anywhere.

Still, you might be right... there may have been a lot of vampire comics in the past, but they must have ended before I got to them. Most of the existing comics I checked out where started between 2007-2009. And there are so few of them, especially when you consider the vampire craze that's been sweeping the nation since Twilight came out. I was sorta hoping for more. (Though, make no mistake, finding 9 webcomics about the ridiculously specific limitations of "tales about vampire women" was overall not a bad haul. :) )

"Interestingly, while searching out comics featuring vampire women, I ran across a comment on Websnark where the poster mentioned that he was surprised that there weren’t many vampire comics. That was probably true when he posted back in 2007."

Not really. There were a lot of vampire comics back then as well. And in addition to that there were a lot of comics with vampires in them, which wasn't necessarily the same thing but boy was it annoying after a while. In fact Dracula was cropping up so frequently I felt compelled to point it out.

Thanks to Twilight however, I'm bracing myself for even more vampire comics...

I just figured out that the name of this was based on a movie.
An entire series, in fact. So is your net name(sorta). Probably shouldn't be surprised at this. Yet I am.

As for the next encounter, I'd vote for the vampire men. Not only to promote equality, but it might be interesting to compare the presentation of vampiric men/women.
Though I honestly doubt there'd be much difference, one never knows.
