Hey now, no need to insult Azumanga Daioh like that. There the characters actually managed to seem charming.

But yeah, this only gives me yet another reason to have an intense dislike towards Lagacé's work. A new setting, new characters, a whole new start and she just uses it as another softcore peep show.

I would actually have more respect for her if she just filled Menage a 3 with full-on, hardcore sex. I still wouldn't like it, but she'd at least be staying true to the whole "porn with stories" shit she went on about. As it is, the lack of any explicit sexual material just smacks of her trying to give her characters some modicum of respectability, as if there's something more to the story than flat, annoying characters getting into somewhat-naughty hijinx and humongous breasts flying every which way.

Cut the crap and get to the hardcore screwing already, Lagacé. Your fanbase of perverts will thank you for it, while your fanbase that actually thinks your characters have depth will hopefully go on to find better comics.
