This is the first year I haven’t correctly called the Eisner winner. (I predicted Vs. would win back in May.) In my defense, I wasn’t overly familiar with any of the webcomics or creators beforehand, so I plead ignorance!
Finder was especially tricky, since there’s a large body of work that’s not online but which I imagine the Eisner judges were already familiar with. I mentioned that the available material looked kinda tacky. Finder fans set me straight and told me that this was but a small subset of the world that Ms. MacNeil crafted.
So, anyway, congratulations to Ms. MacNeil!
Meanwhile, I will drown my sorrows and lose my self in this tasteful picture of Aishwarya Rai in a clingly sweater.

Um, could you provide a link to the comic please?
I put a link up. Tell me how it works out. The last time I put the link up, it didn’t actually work. It looks like Shadowline requires you to go to the site (http://www.shadowlinecomics.com/), and then select the comic from the drop-down list. The link I posted is direct, but there’s a good chance it doesn’t work. I’d test it out, but the computer I’m on right now doesn’t do Flash very well. (Finder is presented on a Flash-enabled system similar to Zuda.)

I haven’t read the entire comic and I’m sure it’s pretty good and deserved its Eisner and all that, but I reeeeally didn’t like the Flash interface. (More about that in my blog.)
