Wickedpowered sucked. Enormously. I mean, sure, some of the jokes were kind of funny, but the overall characterization was god awful. And seriously, if I was Wiley, I would have just said screw it. I wouldn’t continue down that bullshit path they freakin carved out for him. I would have shot myself in the face. At the very least, I would have went to Vegas and slept with a hooker. Better to lose your virginity that way than the way he was told he would. And I would have killed those three girls. With knives. For real, they deserved it. Worst. Comic. EVER. But maybe that’s just me. I was cursed with braincells, so what can I say?

A J. Scott Campbell style would be interesting, though. Danger Girl was mining a similar action-parody vein. (Which makes me wonder if there’s a webcomic artist out there who draws in that style. I’m pretty sure there is.)

It might be my own taste, but I found the comic lacking in imagination with a lot of the the stuff it sometimes tries too hard in being done a lot better by other people. There are some jokes that could’ve been funny, but are hurt by all the bad ones. The art is ok, but I think a J. Scott Cambel wanna-be style would’ve fit the series than an anime one.
